Broadway's Martin Moran Reveals The Tricky Part in New York, March 28-May 30

Broadway star Martin Moran is set to perform his new play, The Tricky Part, which receives its world premiere at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, starting March 28-May 30.Seth Barrish — co-founder and co-artistic director of The Barrow Group — directs the solo work which is set to officially open April 12. James B. Freydberg, Wendy vanden Heuvel, True Love Productions and CTM Productions produce the limited engagement.

The Tricky Part, humorously and candidly delves into the life of its star and his personal journey. The work deals with the consequences of a 12-year-old altar boy's introduction to sex.

The work was developed at Utah's Sundance Institute Theatre Lab, Connecticut's Long Wharf Theatre and New Jersey's McCarter Theatre. The initial workshop took place at The Barrow Group.

Martin has appeared on Broadway in the Broadway revival of Bells Are Ringing, Cabaret, Titanic, How to Succeed In Business..., Big River and Oliver! Other credits include A Man of No Importance, The Cider House Rules, Doonesbury, Floyd Collins and The Making of Americans.

The design team for The Tricky Part includes Paul Steinberg (sets) and Heather Carson (lighting).
